About Wandsworth Oasis
Since its foundation in 1989, Wandsworth Oasis has provided support to – and challenged stigma towards – those living with HIV.
Using revenue generated by our nine charity shops located in London, as well as fundraising initiatives, we provide small and large grants to organisations providing direct support and prevention services to HIV positive individuals.
World Aids Day 2026 RED RUN registrations are OPEN! Join an incredible community of people coming together to raise funds to support those living HIV, raise awareness, fight against stigma, and support and uplift each other! Visit Redrun.org.uk to sign up and make a difference!

Happy London Pride from Wandsworth Oasis, we hope everyone had a wonderful time yesterday! Let`s remember that the first pride march took place in 1972, when around 2000 people marched through London for the right to live and love openly, safely, and to be proud of who they are. In the 80`s and 90`s during the HIV/AIDS crisis, ignored and stigmatized by the governments and the media, the LGBTQ+ community came together to support each other and demand change. Their work built the services and support structures we have today, saving countless lives and changing the public`s understanding of HIV. This pride we remember that incredible work and the importance of continuing to support each other, raise awareness and #stopthestigma #hivawareness #pride #HIV
Undetectable = Untransmittable. People on effective HIV treatment can reduce their viral load to undetectable levels, meaning there’s zero chance of them sexually transmitting HIV. Treatment means those living with HIV can lead full and happy lives without anxiety about passing it on. Not only is this incredible for those living with HIV, it’s important for everyone to understand as even today people with HIV can face unfounded and ignorant social stigma.

Big Yellow in Balham are great
supporters of local community organisations. They provide
us with 100sq foot of free storage space which is
invaluable for us. If you have storage requirements, do ask
for a quote from them.
We’d like to thank Big Yellow in Balham for their continued
support. We have our archive located at the warehouse in
Balham - can you imagine having to have 6 years of files in
our office?! We also store our seasonal items there too. It
is great to be able to have that extra storage space we so
need. You guys are the best!

Trends fade and end up thrown away, dumped in a landfill& damage our environment- but we can prevent that! By donating unwanted clothes in good condition & shopping secondhand, we can break the cycle of overconsumption and protect our planet, all whilst raising money for those living with HIV!
